The Caribbean and North America Council for Mission (CANACOM) is celebrating 40 years of service and mission under the theme, \u201cTrusting God\u2019s Faithful, Ongoing Preservation of All Creation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Established in 1986, CANACOM has spent four decades strengthening mission partnerships, encouraging Christian witness, and supporting the Church\u2019s response to the needs of communities throughout the Caribbean and North America. This milestone provides an opportunity to celebrate the journey while looking ahead to the Church\u2019s continuing responsibility to care for God\u2019s creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the 40th-anniversary celebrations, CANACOM will host a Faith & Climate Conference on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saturday, September 12, 2026<\/strong> The conference will provide an important space for conversation, learning and reflection on the relationship between faith, climate change and Christian responsibility for creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Climate change continues to affect communities across the Caribbean, with implications for food security, livelihoods, health, housing and the environment.
