From Gardeners to Guardians: Activating Our Genesis Mandate

In a time marked by environmental uncertainty and growing concern for public health, we are invited to reimagine our role in the world not simply as observers but as active stewards of creation. Our upcoming webinar series, From Gardeners to Guardians, offers a thoughtful and engaging space to explore this calling.

This six-part series draws inspiration from the creation narrative, guiding participants through a journey that connects faith, climate, and human well-being. Each seminar builds on a “day” of creation, uncovering how the natural world shapes our health, communities, and shared future.

Webinar Series Overview:

  • Seminar 1 (Creation Days 1-2): Between Light and Sky: The Atmosphere, Our Health, Our Hope
  • Seminar 2 (Creation Day 3): Grounded: Land, Water, Food, and Sacred Stewardship
  • Seminar 3 (Creation Day 4): Seasons Unraveled: Extreme Weather & Health
  • Seminar 4 (Creation Days 5-6): Waters, Wings, and Wild Things: Creation Care for a Living World
  • Seminar 5 (Creation Day 6): Called to Cultivate: Human Health and Hope in a Changing World
  • Seminar 6 (Creation Day 7): Sacred Pause: Sabbath Practices for Climate Anxiety and Healing

Together, these sessions invite participants to reflect deeply on the intersection of environmental care and human flourishing. Topics will range from atmospheric health and extreme weather to food systems, biodiversity, and practices of rest and resilience in the face of climate anxiety.
